Toowoomba District Primary School Teams State Qualifier

Tournament Details

The Toowoomba District “Primary School” Teams State Qualifier will be held on Saturday 7th September 2024 at Concordia Lutheran College, Hume Street Campus – Hall, 402 Hume St Toowoomba.

This event is by invitation only at the Toowoomba District Primary School Teams Chess Championship..

Event Times

Saturday – 4pm until approximately 7pm

Registration

Please arrive before 3.45pm so registration can be completed in a timely manner and we can start on time at 4pm sharp.

Prizes

Each team will be competing to win a place at the State Finals in October.

Team Requirements

A team will consist of four (4) students (reserves are permitted and swaps if a team member cannot attend) and each team will play numerous games on both nights.

School Requirements

Each school needs to have a representative (e.g. teacher) from their school for the supervision and responsibility of their students. Alternatively, supervision may be done by parents, but it must be one or the other.

Parents

Please arrange to let your child/ren’s school know if they are available to play and advise ASAP.

There will be no canteen for this tournament so please ensure your child has any food and drink they may require for the 3 hours.
