Deadline for Entries – Friday 4 April 2025 at 7pm.

Maximum No Of Entries – 120 players

When: Saturday 5 April 2025  from 9.30am to approximately 4.00pm

Prize Pool (based on 50 entries): $500

• 1st Place: $200
• 2nd Place: $150
• 3rd Place: $75
• Best Female: $75

NB: Prizes will be allocated on count back.

Trophies:

• Best Under 8
• Best Under 10
• Best Under 12
• Best Under 18

Entry: $50.00

You must be a CAQ member to play – https://caq.org.au/membership-levels/

Format: 7 round FIDE rated tournament

Time Control: 14 mins each plus 2 seconds per move for each game

Queensland Junior, ACF Quick and FIDE Rapid Rated

Important Information:

• BYO FOOD/DRINKS – No canteen will be operating on the day.
• Only water is to be consumed inside the building on request of host school.
• Parents welcome to stay and supervise their children. During game play parents need to ensure they don’t engage with their children.
• Electronic devices must be turned off in the playing field.
• Tournament Participation Rules can be found on the website which includes the responsibility and supervision of your children.
